During the summer of 1998, a new addition to the hospital was completed, the Marshall University Medical Center. The hospital has been affilitated with Marshall University for many years, training excellent doctors, nurses and technicians, to provide caring clinical treatment of each patient. The six story addition to the hospital and its occupants, conveniently puts the medical centers in close proximity of the hospitals' and surrounding specialty centers' resources.
