Training Bureau

The Training Bureau is responsible for entry level training as well as continuing education for all personnel based on fire service standards and emergency response demands within an environment that stresses quality instruction and the highest commitment to safety. We seek to enhance the skills of all personnel to better serve the fire department and the citizens of Huntington. The Training Officer has an Assistant Training Officer that is assigned to assist with the required training of department personnel. The Training Bureau is managed by Captain Jan K. Rader and Lieutenant Charley Shumaker.
