Memorial
The City of Huntington Fire Department is proud to
have
delivered top quality professional fire and emergency services for
over 100 years. The department is not only a collection of buildings
and vehicles designed to respond to emergencies, it is a group of
dedicated men and women whom each citizen, worker, and visitor owes
a debt of gratitude. A memorial stands on the front lawn of
Centennial Fire Station No.1, in the City. The following are the
names of nine fire fighters and fire officers who died in the line
of duty while protecting the citizens they served.
