The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for the Tri-State region that takes effect at 8 a.m. Thursday and lasts until 8 a.m. Friday. The ground in the watch area means is still wet from rounds of heavy rain during the past few days. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches with higher amounts are possible beginning Thursday morning and continuing into Friday morning.
