Huntington City Council has eleven members, one from each of the nine municipal election districts and two members elected at-large. Council members are elected for a term of four years.
Regular Council meetings are held on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 7:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers.
The City Clerk and Assistant City clerk are appointed by City Council, and all ordinances and resolutions passed by Council are on record in the City Clerk's Office.
A Google map has been created to show the boundaries of the nine city council districts. Click here to view it. Use the zoom bar on the left side of the map to increase or decrease the size of the map. You also can use the Map, Satellite and Terrain buttons in the upper right corner of the map to change the style of the display.
Note: Do not rely on this map for any legal or binding matters. Do not use it to determine city boundaries. This is simply a tool to help citizens locate their city council representatives.
