The Neighborhood Institute collaborates in the creation and development of community based organizations. It provides technical assistance, aids in research and development relative to community programs and projects, facilitates a forum for public discussion about neighborhood issues, assists in implementing and evaluating city policies and programs, assists in securing financial resources for neighborhood organizations, provides on-going training and enables neighborhoods to increase their capacity for collaboration and change, working with the City to improve the quality of life.
